‘Journey to the Heart’ has been successfully running in Teignmouth, Devon for 4 years alongside private events for a mens' mental health charity for 2 years.  Summer 2025 'Journey to the Heart Exclusive' arrived in the heart of Exeter in Gandy Street, offering guests massage couches and accessories, for ultimate comfort and relaxation.

Tamaya drum soundbaths are an immersive sensory experience of sound, vibration, breath and nurturing touch, led by the grounding, gentle and deep resonance of the drum, the most ancient rhythm of all.

As you settle into the safe and supportive space, detaching from the outside world, the beautiful, meditative and rhythmic flow invites your nervous system to slow down, your thoughts to settle and your awareness to expand, bringing you back to a natural sense of presence, peace and inner strength. 

When I receive a request for a larger scale event, it is physically and energetically impossible for me to offer hands-on healing to everyone, and it does not feel in alignment for me to bring in a second person to assist at my sound bath events.  Therefore I adapt my approach to ensure everyone feels supported, leaving the event feeling in balance and relaxed.

​What to Expect

For part of the session I closely drum around each participant, bringing a very personal experience to a group event. Everyone benefits from the close vibration and later in the session I move into hands on bodywork/energy healing for those who wish to receive.

My preference for drumming and not introducing multiple sound instruments is because for me personally, I feel drumming offers continuity of flow for participants, supportive for deep relaxation to calm the body and mind.

It is advised you aim to arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the start time, as door will be locked once the session has started and cannot be interrupted.
