Remembering our Angel Babies
In January 2003 my life changed forever. I was pregnant with our first child Lucy. We discovered she had severe abnormalities and would not have survived birth. On 2 January I was induced and the following day gave birth to our daughter Lucy at 20 weeks gestation.
I set up and ran a registered baby loss charity for 14 years, offering support groups in hospitals, 1:1 befriending, clay prints of hands and feet, baby gowns, escorting parents to chapels of rest, remembrance and awareness events.
I know how painful Mothering Sunday can be for bereaved parents, even when they have gone on to have other children. The rawness may have subsided, but the memories and love in our hearts for our Angel Babies remains.
In the lead up to this Mothering Sunday, I am inviting you to join me for a morning of sharing, support and healing.
I have kept the numbers limited to a maximum of 8, as I feel smaller more intimate groups work for this type of session.
